Ghosts in the Clear (GIC) Paranormal Investigators

GIC Paranormal Investigators formed 4 years ago when 4 women left other paranormal groups to establish their own. This team of ghost investigators explore historical sites and private homes to capture spirit communications and electronic voice phenomena (EVP). They use specialized equipment (EMF meters and recorders) to capture orbs and voices. Their equipment also utilizes flashlights, lights with bells and rods that the spirits can manipulate and use to communicate.
GIC Paranormal has investigated numerous cemeteries in NJ from Charles Joughein in Patterson to Princeton as well as The Gate of Heaven Cemetery in NY and the Oak Lawn Cemetery in CT. Interesting historical sites have ranged from Abraham Staats House in NJ, to Transallgany Lunatic Asylum in WV to far-away Haunted Queen Mary in CA.
And they have also investigated our own Osborn Cannonball House in downtown Scotch Plains on 3 occasions. So on Wednesday October 28th, the Historical Society of Scotch Plains and Fanwood is thrilled to have two of the members Claire and Dorothy present their findings of these investigations. Historical Society members who experienced this investigation will be there to share their experiences. If time allows, they will also tell us about a few other interesting sites where they have helped families, business owners or historic sites understand and cope with unexplained activity in their spaces.
This program is free and open to the public. No registration is needed. Refreshments and fellowship follow the meeting. The meeting starts at 7:30 PM and is held at Shady Rest Golf Club, 820 Jerusalem Road, Scotch Plains. It is sponsored by the Historical Society of Scotch Plains and Fanwood.
