Osborn Cannonball House Open For Scotch Plains Day and Four Centuries in a Weekend

13 September 2025
The Osborn Cannonball House Museum, located at 1840 Front Street in Scotch Plains, will be open to the public on Sunday, October 5th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and for Four Centuries in a Weekend on Saturday, October 18, 2025, and Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.

The museum will feature a display entitled “NJ Passengers Aboard the RMS Titanic,” which will include replicas of the actual items used aboard the ship.

From the museum’s vast antique clothing collection, mannequins will be dressed in “Titanic era,” or Edwardian, clothing. This display will have clothing representing the three classes aboard the ship.

Costumed docents will give tours of the 1750 home of the Osborn family, who witnessed and played a role in the Revolutionary War and the founding of the town of Scotch Plains. For the Four Centuries in a Weekend event, there will also be a children’s craft in our craft tent along with an early Halloween treat!
