Osborn Cannonball House Museum Open House – Sunday, November 6, 2011 2PM-4PM

The Osborn Cannonball House Museum located at 1840 Front Street, Scotch Plains, NJ, 07076, will be open on Sunday, November 6th, 2011, from 2-4pm.
The theme continues with “the invitiation to the dance” which will feature formal ball clothes from colonial fashion through the 1950’s.  Costumed guides will conduct tours.
Admission is free.  All are welcome!

Meeting on March 22, 2011

The Historical Society of Scotch Plains and Fanwood will hold a Board Meeting at the monthly meeting time on March 22, 2011.

The meeting will start at 8:00PM on Tuesday March 22nd at the Scotch Hills Country Club on Plainfield Avenue and Jerusalem Road in Scotch Plains.

The meeting is open and free to everyone interested, not just Board members.

2010 Annual Holiday Open house at the Osborn-Cannonball House Museum

Would you like a cookie?On December 5,2010, the Museum will have its annual holiday open house.

Docents will tell the story of an old fashion Christmas.

There is also the SPBPA “Old Fashioned Holiday Celebration” to welcome Santa at the Alan Augustine Village Green.
Activities will begin at 2:00pm and are to include Ice Sculpting, Petting Zoo, Rainbow the Clown and the always popular Horse Drawn Wagon Ride.   Santa is to arrive at 3:00pm.
