Osborn Cannonball House Museum open for the 2016 Union County Four Centuries in a Weekend Historic Sites Tour

As part of the Union County “Four Centuries in a Weekend” event, The Historical Society of Scotch Plains and Fanwood will be exhibiting its collection of vintage wedding attire. More than a dozen selections from its collection of vintage wedding dresses and accessories will be on display spanning the decades from the 19th century to the present.

The display may be viewed by the public on Saturday October 15th, 2016from 10am to 5pm and on Sunday, October 16th, 2016 from noon to 5pm at the historic Osborn Cannonball House at 1840 East Front Street in Scotch Plains, NJ.

Osborn Cannonball House Museum open for the 2015 Union County Four Centuries in a Weekend Historic Sites Tour

Osborn Cannonball HouseThe Osborn Cannonball House Museum, located at 1840 Front Street, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076, will be open on Saturday Oct 17th 2014 from 10-5pm and Sunday , October 19, 2012 from 2-4pm as part of the annual Union County Four Centuries in a weekend historic sites tour.

 

We will be featuring a display of original period clothing of the Civil War. Costumed guides will conduct tours.

Osborn Cannonball HouseThe Osborn Cannonball House Museum, located at 1840 Front Street, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076, will be open on Saturday Oct 18th 2014 from 10-5 and Sunday , October 19, 2012 from 12-5pm as part of the Union County Four Centuries in a weekend historic sites tour.

We will be featuring a presentation explaining why the US government gave the township a World War I era cannon.  Guides will be on hand to conduct tours and share some history with you.
