Florence and Raphael Losanno

Third generation owners Ralph and Cyndy Losanno will tell the history of this local store at this meeting of the Historical Society of Scotch Plains and Fanwood.  Ralph’s grandmother Florence and her husband Raphael started the store in Newark in 1943.  Their son Anthony and his wife Maryann moved and expanded the business to Scotch Plains in 1968.  Their son Ralph and his wife Cyndy have continued expanding the business, just moving it to a more central location on Park Avenue a year ago.  Their son has joined the business so a fourth generation will ensure delicious Florence Raviolis, heat-and-serve dinners, fresh pastas, fresh mozzarella and ricotta cheeses for many more years.

This yummy meeting with samples takes place at the Scotch Hills Country Club on Plainfield Avenue and Jerusalem Road in Scotch Plains,  on Tuesday, February 26th at 8:00PM.  The meeting is free and open to everyone.
