Open for Scotch Plains Day, the Osborn Cannonball House Museum October 1st from 11a.m. to 3p.m.

The Osborn Cannonball House Museum Front with two ladies in colonial dress welcoming visitors.The Osborn Cannonball House Museum will be open for visitors on Scotch Plains Day, Sunday, October 1st, 2023 from 11:00 am – 3:00 p.m. The museum joins the celebration of the founding of our community from the village of Scotch Plains in Elizabethtown, to the Township of Westfield, to the Township of Fanwood, to the present day Township of Scotch Plains. There will be costumed docents to give tours and tell the history of the amazing 18th century house, which is fully furnished with both colonial and Victorian era decor, and of the Osborn family–their thirteen children and their participation in the American Revolution.

The Museum is located at 1840 Front Street, Scotch Plains, NJ  07076. Admission to the museum is free but donations are always welcome.

Osborn Cannonball House Museum Open September 3rd from 2p.m. to 4p.m.

The Osborn Cannonball House Museum will be open for visitors on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Come visit our Colonial-era museum where you’ll hear the story of the Osborn Family, who were instrumental to the early development of Scotch Plains. See our exhibits of colonial era living and a 19th century parlor.

The Museum is located at 1840 Front Street, Scotch Plains, NJ  07076. Admission to the museum is free but donations are always welcome.

Osborn Cannonball House Museum Open August 6th from 2p.m. to 4p.m.

Our ladies have donned their antique Edwardian cool summer attire to welcome visitors to the museum. Come visit our Colonial-era museum where you’ll hear the story of the Osborn Family, who were instrumental to the early development of Scotch Plains.
