The Osborn Cannonball House Museum, located at 1840 Front Street, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076, will be open on Saturday Oct 19th 2013 from 10-5 and Sunday , October 20, 2013 from 12-5pm as part of the Union County Four Centuries in a weekend historic sites tour.

We will be featuring a display of news articles and period clothing of  “Lincoln/Kennedy: Two Eras, Two Assassinations,” one hundred years separated two presidential assassinations so much in common, so different.

Also view our newly acquired 1880’s Mason and Hamlin reed pump organ.  Costumed guides will conduct tours.

Osborn-Cannonball House Museum Open House – Sunday, August 4, 2013 2PM-4PM

Please join us on Sunday, August 4, 2013, from 2PM to 4PM, at the Osborn-Cannonball House Museum.

A variety of doll’s dressed in colonial fashion will be on display. Also view our newly acquired 1880’s Mason and Hamilin reed pump organ.

The event is open to the public, and there is no charge for admission. We hope to see you there!

Osborn Cannonball House: A Picture History

“Osborn Cannonball House: A Picture History” is a 9 minute museum documentary focusing on the historical events connected to the Osborn House on 1840 Front Street and the times and customs that shaped the lives of its inhabitants. The film provides an inside look at each of the rooms and exhibits of the house, including interviews with a museum tour guide and live recreation scenes of Revolutionary battles and 18th century life.

This film was created and directed by Philip C Tice as his Eagle Scout Project.
