Museum Openings March 6th and April 3rd

The Osborn Cannonball House Museum will be open to the public for tours (for the first time since Christmas) on Sunday, March 6th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibits feature mannequins dressed in clothing from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.  A video preview of the exhibit may be seen at https://youtu.be/7Uhm5y9zXI4.House tours will be provided by costumed docents. The Museum is located at 1840 Front Street, Scotch Plains, NJ  07076. Admission to the museum is free but donations are always welcome.
 
The upcoming April 3rd, museum opening will feature demonstrations of colonial crafts. We will feature quilling, pomander making, drop spindling, tin piercing and butter making in addition to having costumed docents available to provide tours. More information will be provided later.
